R.A.P. Director
Linda Miller is a Speech Therapist by trade and the founder of the Avid Readers Unite Bookclub located via Facebook.
She is the current coordinator of the Reading Assistance Program (R.A.P.). Her journey began in 2006/2007 under the leadership of Mrs. Connie Harrell. When she was looking for a place to serve, her love for reading led her to assist St. Luke Baptist Church through the CDC via R.A.P. She has witnessed improvements in children and adults who have struggled with their ability to reach to become fluent readers.
This program seeks to build a world of readers young and old by building community through the reading and discussion of books.
As coordinator of this program, Linda participates in professional development workshops to keep myself abreast of current information and research.
Linda will use her knowledge and passion for reading to help children and adults become self-sufficient in this area. She looks forward to working with all who wish to learn.
