Therese Salmon
Therese Salmon is currently a Project Manager at Verizon, Inc. where she is responsible for driving the creation and implementation of a change management strategy for Verizon's Supplier Risk Management Office in the Supply Chain organization.
Preceding her career with Verizon, this NJ native spent 20+ impactful years living and learning in the Washington, DC area. It is during this time Therese channeled her strengths as a communicator, influencer and people leader to lead organizational transformation project teams as a Management Consultant. Therese has worked in the capacity as trusted advisor on high visibility projects with many Federal Government clients, including The Department of Homeland Security, the Internal Revenue Service and NASA.
When Therese returned to her beloved hometown 7 years ago to be near her family she observed the myriad of challenges facing the community that protected and prepared her to take flight, supported her through all of her achievements and lovingly welcomed her back. Her organizing and problem-solving skills have been channeled into a passion that drives her to proactively influence Paterson's transformation. In addition to founding a non-profit dedicated to showcasing the arts in Paterson, she serves as an Executive Board member of Paterson's NAACP
